USTR Katherine Tai vowed to stand with #Australia on trade & accused #China of economic coercion. The #US cherry-picks mechanisms & rules under the multilateral trading system.
Re Distorting facts for political purposes cannot whitewash what it has done, nor will it be accepted by the world.
Did the #US throw #JulianAssange in prison & hate #EdwardSnowden’s guts because they revealed the dark history of its wiretapping & theft of secrets? It accuses #China of conducting cyber attacks, but where is the evidence?

On origin-tracing, some in the #US may indeed have a guilty conscience. In fact, the US has remained silent on the serious concerns raised by the international community about #FortDetrick & its 200+ bio-labs overseas.

#FortDetrick remains shrouded in secrecy. Just after #US CDC halted most of its research, unexplained outbreaks of respiratory disease appeared in northern #Virginia, EVALI broke out in #Wisconsin, retirement communities near the base experienced unexplained pneumonia outbreaks.
Re No allies are spared from its massive net of surveillance. The US has long lost the last shred of credibility on cybersecurity. Nothing it says can be trusted.
The CISA advisory claims Chinese state-sponsored hackers breached US natural gas pipeline operators. That’s a bit rich, coming from the “empire of hacking”! When it comes to cyber attacks, all other countries pale next to the US.

Re As to espionage & digital security threat, the US is the global laureate. It runs surveillance programs on not only competitors but also allies through various means like cyber theft & phone tapping. These are well-known facts.
