A couple years ago, I met some promising young men working to prevent gun violence with @ChicagoCred. Talking with them reminded me that one of the best ways to make our communities safer is simple: Listen to—and invest in—voices like theirs.
The Obama Foundation: To create lasting change in Chicago, @ChicagoCred works with people who are most at risk of gun violence. We had the chance to sit down with a few members of their team to hear how they’ve been able to curb gun violence by investing in these young men.
