I used to think that inlay hints are verbose and they make code aligning pretty hard for languages like #fsharp. But they are pretty useful when you can see them on demand, and it is possible with the new release of vscode!

TIL about "Code Tours" in @code — this is a really interesting way to educate people in source! Imagine if more #OSS projects used these throughout their code base?! For example, as a contributor, you could quickly familiarize yourself with the repo 🤓

🌳 Do you create many branches in git?
✨ Do your branch names spark joy for you and your collaborators?
No?
Let's fix it: Enable `git.branchRandomName.enable` in VS Code.
Branch names that SPARK JOY!

I love that bracket pair colorization is enabled by default now in @code. Even though it was introduced all the way back in August 2021 I honestly had no idea VS Code had a native solution!

.@code devcontainer "features" feature is 💯
It just works. No more copy-n-paste scripts. Just name your features (az, docker, gh, node) and they are there.
Put other setup commands in postCreateCommand

Fridays are great for fixing little details that drive you nuts when you have a few mins to spare. I've been meaning to get rid of the thin font-weight in the @code release notes for like...a year 😅🤷♂️
