Have you heard? You can now open anything you have access to on GitHub directly from VS Code.
That means no clone. No download. No confusion.
How does it work? In this guide @burkeholland shows you how to open any repo in VS Code without cloning it.

Have you ever tried @code's Markdown Table extension?
It formats tables; supports nicer navigation; and gives you the ability to create a markdown table from a CSV or TSV file.
dodyg: @DynamicWebPaige I love markdown but there got to be a nicer way to make tables

Re @code tip -
Normally when you do ' code . ' in terminal, it opens the folder in a new vs code window.
If you want to open a file/folder in current vs code window, just attach a -r argument to it
(r stands for reuse window)

Re @olafurw Is your code in C:\FOO ? If so, pressing the blue button trusts that folder only. The checkbox trusts the parent folder. Agree in your case, with the code in C:\, it may not make sense.

Re @olafurw We are working to make development environments safer and reduce the possibility of supply-chain attacks, even in code that is cloned locally. You can read more in the link below, but please do share your feedback with us on how it could be improved.

🚀 Now that we shipped terminal tabs in @code, I wanted to share a little bit of the backstory of how it all came about. It started 3 years ago when @Tyriar had the idea about introducing alternate ways to visualize tabs that were more discoverable...

💯 The @code extension API was built so nicely, extending their functionality is a thing of beauty. With @typescript I'm right at home with a 💪-typed language, I get my types, union types, enums, generics, async/await, and even control flow based type analysis! 1/4
