Breakpoint style feature in vs @code Jupyter notebooks?! YUP!
You can do "run by line" to execute a cell line by line and a helpful variable window appears at the top in the "run by line" feature! YAY!
Complete new feature ✅ Make Git commit ✅ Merge conflict 🔃🛑 Ugh 😫
VS Code can help solve merge conflicts visually. Learn how 👉

We're looking at finally adding terminal tabs to @code soon. This month we explored what the UX should look like and have some mockups here:
I'd love to hear any feedback you have, we'll probably start on this in a couple of weeks.

🛠 @code tip:. The "expand/shrink" selection keyboard shortcut ⌃⇧⌘→ / ← isn't the easiest to remember, but ridiculously powerful. It recognises code block boundaries and selects accordingly!

I spent our "Learning Day" yesterday fixing up a bunch of little issues I hit using @code's hex editor over the weekend. Expect a more polished hex editor early next month.
Also I really like the data inspector next to the explorer 👇

VS @code tip - you can override global settings for a specific language by using the language name in square brackets (eg. [markdown]) as a key for a settings object.
Useful to set up extra code actions or change the formatting (word wrap, tab sizes, etc.) for a given language.

I've just found out that in @code if I SHIFT+click on one of those arrows on the left side of a file, the ones that represent foldable sections, it recursively folds the whole tree 😮
