This GNOME Extension Brings ‘Material You’ Vibes to Linux Desktops

Android fans pining after Material You-inspired personalisation on their Linux desktop need look no further than the following new GNOME Shell extension. When enabled, the ‘Material You Color Theming’ GNOME extension generates a patched version of GNOME desktop’s stock libadwaita theme accented by colours derived from your desktop wallpaper. Each time you change your wallpaper you get to generate a new re-coloured Adwaita theme. This applies to all installed GTK4/libadwaita applications from the archive. The look can also be applied, with a bit of extra effort, to GTK3 apps using the ‘libadwaita’ GTK3 theme, and it can recolour Flatpak apps :sys_more_orange:

小森林

每个人都有属于自己的一片森林,也许我们从来不曾走过,但它一直在那里,总会在那里。迷失的人迷失了,相逢的人会再相逢。愿这里,成为属于你的小森林。
