I recently discovered that TypeScript combined with JSDoc is a great way to document your code. VSCode automatically picks it up and displays this extra information when you hover over a function:

Re @code 's built-in GitHub Pull Request functionality is pretty dope. You can create a PR all from the editor and then be met with the PR screen and leave comments! (I would feel pretty stupid if this was not a somewhat recent feature ^^)
